I've had this puzzle box in possession for a few years now, but finally gave it a try! Nice challenge, with some fun little twists and turns. Good thing: I have two more!
This was the Cluebox Nautilus by iDventure, bought in a kickstarter (along with two others). Now to reassemble!

This is quite a fun tabletop escape room experience. They come in English, too!

Is this a check to see if I can order one more beer?

I'm pretty sure Gemini didn't see this equation millions of times in training.

Quite colossal.

Ok, that juniper "after"-pic deserved an upgrade.

A #bonsai weekend. I did some styling on nursery stock Hinoki Cypress and a pre-bonsai Chinese Juniper, and obtained a Japanese Black Pine (Kotobuki) styled by professionals.

Not so smart after all, yet.

One more pic of the trunk, from the other side. Because I can. #bonsai
Still trying to see what I can/should cut...

There it is! Pre- #Bonsai number 1. A juniper with nice trunk movement. Work will be done soon. First I need to think about what I want for this tree and not let it die in the meantime.

I bought fertilizer, scissors and wire. The shop closed an hour after I arrived, which probably was a good thing.

The Little Book of Bonsai might well propel me into a new hobby.

And not too far from it...

I guess you do have a choice in how you frame the cry baby's birthday party.

Oh look at that new daily companion!

Time for a re-read!

You must by fucking shitting me, Facebook. When I get back home, I'll make work of permanently leaving.

Apparently we need to explain even to the IMF (a body that is supposed to understand economics, presumably) that if your essential motive is to make a profit, that it is rather impossible that we can "serve the best interests of society". The two sentences directly contradict each other.

Frankly, I have no idea why this isn't headlining in the Netherlands. This seems like a huge deal to me.
February 19, 2025 at 6:29 AM
I bought this one just past week. I'm on the same path, I'm afraid...

I swear, a teaching portfolio (in Dutch) can just be written by ChatGPT. When they ask wide-open questions, I can give vague answers!

Introspection.

Didn't necessarily expect this to happen.
And indeed, it didn't.

It's said to be hallucination free. Maybe it is, but is does make assumptions. Example: I pasted in all the notes (actually a summary of the material) of my beer sommelier course. The summary started by "A Utrecht University course on beer and brewing", so I was curious (see alt text, also):
