Borrowed this from the library for my husband @jasonbbernard.bsky.social and very much recommend it for those with #ADHD and their partners/families. Accessible and to the point graphic novel format with easy to action tips.

Perfect lazy Sunday viewing. Starring Linda Blair, based on a book by Lois Duncan, directed by Wes Craven 👍

The blurb on this copy of Elizabeth von Armin's Vera notes that it "inspired" Du Maurier's Rebecca, and I have to say that is putting it mildly. A very dark book, and a very good one.

Popped in to Notting Hill Comic Exchange today, and found this interesting little collection of #scifi short stories, one of which is by W. Grey Walter of the Burden Neurological Institute. Did he write any more sci-fi, I wonder... #histpsych

Reviewing this at the moment and highly recommend it: The Sleep Room by Jon Stock, about William Sargant, Ewen Cameron, MKULTRA, and a lot more. The power Sargant wielded over his patients was absolutely shocking, and his attention to medical ethics perhaps even more so. #histpsych

Good to see issue 1 of the brand new Agonist Sounds by Richard Stevenson, though not all copies come with a complimentary Mortimer. #noise #noiselife

...I also have a list of films and books I need to go back to or seek out, because the act of indexing has led me to read about something I never normally would have, or reappraise something - like Donovan's Brain by Curt Siodmak! #scifi /2

My author copy of Time and Alcohol: It's Five O'Clock Somewhere!, containing a chapter written with Graham Harding on #c19 tippling, just arrived 😊 [Usual caveats about the extortionate price of academic books, but please use via your library if possible, etc.] #drinkhistory
