Wife is still at Harvard. She noticed a bench near the law school dedicated to a couple who had met near the location and fallen in love. She put a flower on the bench.

Went on a short course at Canberra Glassworks. Really enjoyed it. Here’s the result from a total amateur. A bit wonky at the top but it works as a small vase…

Just travelled from Boston to Canberra. 16 hour time difference as Canberra is 16 hours ahead. Apparently it takes one day per hour for your body to adjust. So 16 days? No. Just worked out it will be 8 days. Because it’s 8 hours moving forward. Hope that makes sense!

Just got back to Canberra from Boston. It’s a helluva journey. Please can some invent a “beam me up Scotty” transporter like they had in Star Trek.

Had the last of the turkey yesterday. Roast on the day, then turkey with a potato top, kind of like a shepherds pie. Then chilli turkey and lastly turkey pastry pie. Must remember to buy a smaller turkey next time. We called our turkey ‘Boris’.

I’ve been playing it for an hour and love it!
Thanks so much to everyone who has downloaded my game Two Words already. We’ve just added a word-strength meter which I love. We are listening to feedback so do let us know what you like and don’t like! Here’s the download link for those who fancy giving it a go.

A Grand Orrery made by Joseph Pope, born 1750 ish. Located at Harvard’s Collection of Scientific Instruments. Just amazed at how much they knew about the planets in the 18th century.
