Many thanks to @ChiOnwurah MP for highlighting that all universities awarded @UKRI Global Talent Fund are South of Birmingham. I’m appalled by the lack of recognition for northern brilliance. Northern universities don’t deserve to be overlooked - but why aren’t we surprised?
