First Wolverine, second Spider-Man, third Doctor Doom. Those will not necessarily always be my top three, nor necessarily in that order, but that's it right now, Spider-Man.

And now I realise "they will too" must be read as "they will sound like a Remain supporter too", not "they will support them too". Both "they"s refer to those Labour MPs. This was worded in a very confusing way.

I don't get the last sentence, the "they"s are throwing me off. It doesn't make sense for the first "they" to refer to the Labour MPs and the second to Reform supporters, but the reverse also doesn't make sense because it would undermine the appeal in the previous sentence. Is there another reading?

Same here, where can we watch this new version starring you?

I did have a look, Amazon Prime and Apple TV both have it, but Amazon Prime looks incomplete (episodes missing) and Apple TV is picky about what it allows you to watch on. Pick your poison, or get a physical DVD box set?

This isn't the first time she used GenAI (look up the Chris Tarrant picture) and as far as I know she never responded to the comments on it the first time either.

Yep, before today I wouldn't have known either, it's not something that comes up in typical everyday conversations.

Not to take away from your main point but having read about the origins of the term "cabal" just this morning and having read about its antisemitic history, it's probably not a term we should be using for this.

Likewise with 57, the Grothendieck prime. Not numbers that we remember from our times tables that we had to memorise in school, not immediately obvious as multiples (as e.g. 66 would be), and small. That's usually a pretty good indication that it's a prime, except when it's not.

It's not hard. You pronounce it to rhyme with the first name of the actor, J Cusack.

They did update the description. People who subscribed to the list before the description was updated won't be alerted of that though, it really shouldn't have been done on that same list.

That's not how moderation lists work: it is possible to add any account to a moderation list, even someone who has blocked you. Which in some cases is a good thing, in other cases not so much.

Those are the number for the constituency votes. Why are you ignoring the voting intentions for the regional votes?

It's pricy, but if you're desperate enough, www.ebay.co.uk/itm/28684995.... I think that is the right one, I think that is what the rainbow cover was called, see e.g. www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/... ?
Pardon our interruption...

The one that starts M-I-C-H-A-E-L, of course. It's just the natural order of letters.

If I'm counting right, he blocked 185 people over this and the difference between times of blocking suggests he manually went through all the quotes and replies and spent quite some time on this. Not sure if that makes it better or worse.

It's got to depend on the nature of the impairment, surely? I'd expect partially sighted people and people who lost their sight later in life may both be sufficiently familiar with kerning that the joke may land even though they would benefit from the alt text -- but am interested how people answer.

She really did post that, I was doubting it as well but it's right there on her Instagram stories.
