“Whenever I visit a market and see the chickens crowded together in tiny cages that give them no room to move around and spread their wings and the fish slowly drowning in the air, my heart goes out to them.

Ours have never been healthier and no gray hairs yet as they age.
Recurring antibiotic-resistant UTIs took a toll on our English mastiff Roxy. We switched to Veg Dog vegan food. Not one UTI in the year since the change.

Exactly.
It literally brings out the best in us! 💕
It’s unfortunate, but sometimes this needs to be said loudly to make people understand.
Veganism is neither a ‘white’ thing nor a ‘privileged’ thing nor a perfectionism movement - it is simply living in a way that seeks to minimize harm to animals (& by extension, other human beings & the planet) ‘as far as is possible & practicable’

My mom died of a heart attack. Nobody knew why.

Then statins were discovered to lower LDL cholesterol and heart attacks ⬇️.

Saturated fat - the fat we get mostly from meat & dairy causes LDL to go up.

Seeing this very fat being promoted, turns my stomach & breaks my heart.💔

To those who dismiss going plant-based because it’s not “natural.”

Statins are not natural
Neither are,
GLP-1 drugs
High BP meds
Diabetes meds

I’d rather take a vit B12, omega-3 from algae, and a little zinc on the side than to be forced to take drugs with lots of side effects.

Who’s with me?

You can't be against oppression and support this.
Sound on 🔊 Feeding time in a pig concentration camp👺They are so hungry ..it drives them mad. Being incarcerated 24/7 drives them mad too. Why support this only for taste pleasure? There are so many delicious cruelty free alternatives. #LiveVegan do no harm 🙏

The worst part is that many People have no idea how much they are contributing to the pain & suffering.
Nearly every #dairy slave camp on the world has them. Calf prison cells👺Here they lock up innocent newborn calves taken away from their mothers straight after birth. These are the goelags of our ‘modern times’. Backward barbaric and reprehensible. When will you #DitchDairy ?

Unnecessary. 💔
Exactly! The person out of frame is a Kristi Noem wannabe…assuming it’s not Kristi Noem.
What’s really sad about this screen grab is the fact that this individual clearly trusted their killer 💔 maybe even waiting for a treat as they do😔
& while this might be a cleaner death than most - it is still a violent & unnecessary betrayal. No different than killing the family dog #SmallFarmsTho

Two-thirds of Americans think kids should have plant-based meals and nondairy milk in schools, even before knowing how many are lactose intolerant. The public is ahead of policy. Imagine what happens once the facts catch up.

People often blame our intelligence on how we treat animals - we are smarter and they are dumber so they get treated as such.

Pigs are arguably the animal that gets treated the worst, while being super intelligent.

We can and need to do so much better!

Pig
Despite their reputation, pigs are not dirty animals. They’re actually quite clean. The pig’s reputation as a filthy animal comes from its habit of rolling in mud to cool off. Pigs that live in cool, ...

We trick them by feeding them. They trust us and we make them miserable. 💔
