I think Lindsey Nicoll really does believe she's doing the right thing. But given her concerns, the right thing was to report Sandie Peggie to the NMC, which she had a duty to do, as Naomi Cunningham pointed out. The right thing was not to try to end Peggie's career by duplicitous means.

Not sure there'll be a smoking gun on the metadata. Sandie Peggie's team didn't get access to phone, so IT criticism just casts doubt and shows more slapdash work by NHS Fife. Probably not bad news for Upton, unless Borwick has a surprise for us.

If Sandie Peggie wins this tribunal, I suggest a cost saving measure for NHS Fife is get Charlotte Myles to run training on how to act with due impartiality toward people you disagree with. And relieve Kate Searle from management duties, to reduce risk of future liability cost for moronic behaviour.
