Couldn't wait till release to share a tiny chunk of @smuggerby.bsky.social 's super cool album art for one of Angeline Era's OST volumes!! Unreal level of detail and it really captures the dark side of the game's characters. Really bumpslashed it out of the park on this one!

Finished dq1, I like the funny moments and jokes, the way a lot of it comes down to figuring out safe grinding spots in the overworld, its openness, the minimal but expressive levels, how you always start at the castle. (But .. )

@angelineera.bsky.social is interesting because it's very chill on low difficulty, satisfyingly demanding at the middle difficulties.. and then on low level runs at the higher difficulties it's a nightmare psx/NES clown-bumper-cars-knockback-ass action game

i was waiting for someone to compare this to KH bc theres another room in this place that looks as disorientingly like the monstro level, even with hilariously dangerous uneven sloped floors

Sephonie was shown at Art center New in Japan! Featuring a found-object rock diorama of the game's island, by another artist. Was nice to see the games themes written about and approached from different angles!
