🇺🇦🇩🇰Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said,“Zelenskyy is a democratically elected and, by the way, extraordinarily capable political leader in Europe, who (...) fought every single day for the peace, freedom and security of Europe and thus also for the Americans.”

Norway's hydrological energy storage levels are now at their highest ever.
Sweden is not far behind, some analysts predicting a year with low spot prices not seen since 2020.
Prices for SE3 so far are 23% lower than in January last year.

Sizewell C, 2nd nuclear power plant in the UK, shows little learning.

Nuclear still ~ $10 000/kW

Or you could put solar on your roof:

Solar ~ $2 000/kW

10 kWh/kW of battery f~ $3 000

Seasonal storage ~ $3 000/kW

That's already a better deal, but...

This can't be repeated often enough: batteries are getting cheaper incredibly fast.

This not only means that our cars can drive on electricity.

But also that solar and wind become "firm" sources of power, and we can use our electricity grid much better.

More VRE, comes with more grid-redundancy -> higher availability, no?
No wind and solar do not result in more power outages.

Here's the data for Germany:

Wind + solar had a share of 33% of electricity in 2022.

➡️But there were 43% FEWER interruptions than in 2006 when wind + solar contributed only 5%.
