Some incredibly good news:

One year ago this week, The Onion returned to print.

In that one year, we’ve grown to the 13th largest print newspaper in the United States, just ahead of the Boston Globe, and growing fast.

In short, it’s working.

So… thank you. Thank you for helping save this thing.

The Canadian Taxpayer Federation is funded in part by foreign activists.
Jason Kenney was their president between his time campaigning against human rights (specifically gay rights) in the US and a career public servant.

I don't get why everyone is acting like Chappel Roan pronounces Saskatchewan wrong in her new song. She says "Saskatchewun" which is the only way I've ever pronounced it or heard it pronounced???

I think Saskatchewan needs to follow the Vatican's approach to announcing new leadership. It would be more honest.

When the Co-op Refinery flare stake ignites, you know the oil industry has chosen a new Premier.

Woah.

University of Regina says it has lost confidence in URSU’s ability to serve and represent students. The university is terminating its fee collection agreement effective August 31, 2025.

All due to "significant" concerns regarding URSU's financial situation.

THIS ISN'T FUCKING TRUE. Nearly SEVENTY PERCENT of people in Saskatchewan live in urban areas. That's a lower percentage than most provinces (except Manitoba, which does not get this same treatment, despite having very similar demographics as SK) but it's still an overwhelming majority!
