Disabled people do not suffer if we make a world that is accessible to them, and choosing to eradicate some types of disability instead of enabling disabled people to thrive is a choice based in a desire for aesthetic purity, not humanitarianism.

The problem is that someone has to draw a line between an acceptable and unacceptable level of disablement - what symptoms do they consider 'too debilitating'? Why?

This is a type of ableism, the prejudice that disabled people are inherently 'lesser' and in constant suffering.
