oh i missed perfume genius best alt album nominee too…good for him!
ugh there was SO MUCH good music this year, most of it just didn’t hit the billboard charts. there’s a few good things (clipse best album, kendrick always, pinkpantheress & fka twigs for best electronic album) but yeah, overall a mess

like, i understand that last night was mostly good nationwide in terms of resisting fascism, but i hate my city council person, i hate the mayor, and property owners in my rural hometown won’t ok a $20/mo increase in their property taxes so that their kids can have a better education!!

Mayor Jacob Frey also does not treat people with basic respect, making it almost impossible to work with him. A very common experience I’ve heard from multiple council members is that you only get a call from the mayor when he’s calling to yell at you.
