Had a brilliant day at the Faith Museum in Bishop Auckland yesterday, as part of our upcoming @theosthinktank.bsky.social @culhamstgabriel.bsky.social report on where religious education happens beyond the classroom. I especially enjoyed this display of teetotal propaganda...

On "liberation day", whatever that will come to mean for the world, it felt hopeful & prophetic to be in a packed committee room in parliament for the @chrleft.bsky.social Tawney Dialogue last night, discussing where we are twenty years on from Make Poverty History.

Incredible scenes in the @chrleft.bsky.social post bag this week as someone has sent me this membership recruitment leaflet from c.1995 - I think we could do far worse than this as a slogan for 2025 too.

Brilliant (but dreich) weekend in Glasgow catching up with lovely Scottish @chrleft.bsky.social members, some inspiring fringes on energy & poverty, and powerful speeches from Anas Sarwar and the PM. These islands, like this movement, are truly better together.
