A week ago, we closed on an off-grid house in rural Nova Scotia. We’re still settling in, and Dartmouth will always have a huge chunk of my heart, but it’s paradise here.

Reminder that Dal has a billion dollar endowment. Instead of investing in Suncor (1.6 mil), Pembina Pipeline Corporation (1 mil), or Enbridge (2.6 mil), why not invest in workers who run labs making big discoveries, bring in research funding, attract top grad students, raise Dal’s global profile….
