Naturalist. Norfolk. Mostly wandering about looking at invertebrates with Kevin Radley (in which case all photos his) or observing the creatures in my garden.
We garden around all sorts of creatures and I am very happy to do so!

Possibly. It may at least make them think twice.
But my sister came across a hound running alone on a road last week. She discovered where it had come from and the rest of the hunt were well away and they didn't seem at all bothered about its welfare.

The hunt are quite good at shooting their own hounds, soon as one puts a foot 'wrong'- bang.

I agree. I am ashamed to say some of my relatives go hunting.
And I hate it when pro-hunt people say it's only townies that object because they don't understand the countryside. Poppycock! I am from the countryside and I understand exactly what goes on.
I hope you don't get invaded by them again.

Terrible!!
It's happened to our next-door neighbours (we're in Norfolk) the entire pack of hounds and all the riders came through their garden nursery and when they protested and asked them to leave their property the hunt simply ignored them and carried on. Vile sport and vile people.

Must've been fantastic to watch in person- I've only seen it on television and been amazed by it!

Indeed! 😄

There were Oak trees where I'd parked. I will look out for them around trees where there are lots of Knopper galls! Incredible looking little parasitoids.
