The Government's abrupt announcement to halt the SFI will ultimately harm nature-friendly farmers who are producing sustainable food for our society.

The great strength of the Climate and Nature Bill is that it was developed from the very beginning with climate and biodiversity scientists (including me as it happens)

It's not based on what politicians think will be expedient, but on what the evidence says is necessary
