Free falling down the neural rabbit hole

interesting! i've been considering trazodone as well. when it comes to using weed for sleep...i don't like being dependent on something, but it's not the end of the world.

I can't sleep without it. I'd say that means I'm dependent. And I don't think it's purely "psychological," whatever that means. From what I understand about the science, withdrawal symptoms last until the drug leaves your body, which takes weeks. Much longer than some other substances.

ADHD doesn't always mean this! almost everything seems to keep me awake.

i welcome anyone to answer! this makes a lot more sense than the other explanations i've found. this sounds like a pretty clear distinction.

I once hosted a Seder with my sister and we invited a few gentiles. One of them brought a guest who was in the process of converting to Judaism.. and they would NOT stop trying to out-Jew my sister and I. Like they kept explaining how to be Jewish to us. I'd advise Passover guests to... not do that.

My sense is that having ADHD means you're less likely to accept the status quo simply because "that's how it is." This can apply to social justice issues or more trivial societal rules (like do we really need to fold laundry etc.) Not sure how helpful it is to keep inventing new terms..
