All this business I am reading about social security is nonsense. My mom died on 2/18. My dad got a letter yesterday informing him her benefits were ending and he had to repay the February payment because they don’t give a payment in the month someone dies. They know where every dollar is.

Back in the 60's I was teargassed at an anti-war event. There was only one exit route. It crossed a street with a 6' deep ditch. The crowd was panicked and largely blinded. Many fell in and there were significant injuries. My goal in this thread is to provide hints to help keep you safe 👇

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

I just heard that the USAF is removing the Tuskegee Airman from their history curriculum, which is insane given their legacy was so vital that the 332d AEW in Balad, Iraq was named in honor of them. This is a T-Barrier that was outside of our field hospital when I was there painted in their honor
