I had catnip plants in pots on my front steps. I had Dollar Tree wire baskets with 1” gaps inverted over them to keep RD from chewing down to the root. A black cat I don’t know decided to snag all 3 plants from their cages and take them to go. Now in January I’m looking for replacements. Bummer.

On the ⏰App there is a poster named Travels with “Brent” the air tag. Seems am abusive ex tagged his ex wife’s car and she found it. Now this trucker travels around with “Brent”. Not a big account but I love the idea.

There is a thread on the Clock App that state white people have birds somewhere in their house as decor. My Beloved and In-laws are/were recognize birders. We inherited a lot of their stuff. Your point? I don’t have time to photograph my rooms to agree. Trust me. We have birds.

I love list- and today is a good day to review my list and add to them (and make more.) One location is Niagara Falls, where my Mama and Daddy went for their honeymoon. Weird question: the falls are eroding up the waterway, how can I find where the falls were in November, 1952?

DD is going see a friend this weekend. She made her a terrarium which is doing great but DD is tempted to keep it for herself. She is thinking about substituting a gift card because this woman has never appreciated a home made gift. Also she kills all houseplants.

The stores are filling up with Valentines stuff. After 5 months of Christmas I can survive 6 weeks of Valentines. 💘

I’m watching the Clock App with RD on my lap and I have to mute the sound when a video comes on with a cat meowing. If he hears too much he will get down. Does anyone else have to do this?

I cut my right thumb on the edge of something and now need to keep my hand dry. DD has burned herself twice since. I think we need to get out of the kitchen. Thank goodness we have leftovers to eat.

I’ve had a headache all afternoon. I’ve tried a NSAD and then a decongestant. After a while I went to my grandmothers favorite of Vicks and a nap. Finally I self medicated with a depressant drug- red wine which did work. Now- did it actually work or do I just don’t care anymore?

I don’t like to put in the dump anything useful. I have a pile of mattress pads that won’t fit modern mattresses. Water resistant and conventional, plus old sheets. I have friends who would appreciate wet clothes car seat covers and others who are at the age for washable bed chucks. I’m getting busy

Yesterday DD cut up on lemons with a cutting board and knife that had just cut onions. Today I used the leftover 🍋 juice to make us grownup drinks. Interesting. Don’t plan to repeat on purpose. Don’t recommend- but I still drank the drink.

DD had another question about an old recipe. If it reads 1 stick of margarine (or olio), you use 1 stick of Salted Butter. I think she asked because of the “small” box as measurements. It’s easier to ask me now rather than trying to fix it later. Maybe I should make a glossary for my old cookbooks.

We got the alcohol balls done. (Last night she with using dark rum and today she was using Bourbon. Don’t think I will eat enough to get a hangover.) We had to wet the mixture a lot to roll into balls. Until we got it right she said it was trying to roll up “Kinetic Sand”.

Beloved checked Consumer Reports and they haven’t rated clothes irons since 2018. Is this a comment on fast fashion? I can’t afford a 100+ plus iron but I need an iron that actually presses fabric. It’s an old fashion request but what is a good, practical clothes irons.?.
