The Boyfriend reports that nipping and resource guarding are much reduced 😀
She's a very quick learner and he's being very sensible at not encouraging bad behaviour - no petting if she's jumping up etc.
She knows "sit", as you can see, and "come", and is getting a lot better at "leave" and "wait".

That part is distinctly uncomfortable to read from my current perspective but as a teenager I only saw the Gothic Thriller aspect of it really. And God does punish Rochester for his sins.
I prefer Austen or Dickens to any of the Brontë sisters, personally , but they were trailblazers in their way.
