I have successfully crocheted a pair of socks with James C Brett's Happy Feetz yarn; I tend to use them over another pair because I have horribly sweaty hooves, but they did turn out very cute.
Deliberately mismatched socks would be AWESOME, absolutely do it! 😁

Made myself a Car-Ear beanie just in time for the snow!
It's a 50% cotton/acrylic blend so not itchy but also not sweaty and not too heavy. It worked up pretty fast with a 5mm hook.
Young'un has pronounced it "cute" and I am officially allowed to wear it outside the house! 🧶 #crochet

Made myself a Car-Ear beanie just in time for the snow!

Yesterday was Young'un's second stall and we sold out everything we baked except for six buns and four cookies.
She's delighted, I'm very proud!
I help with some of the basic baking but the ideas, planning/organising and the decoration of the cakes, the handmade cards, the labels etc are all her. 😎

Some good news from Cornwall through the bird...
My hair wash routine is:
1) Brush tangles and loose hairs out
2) In shower, shampoo, rinse
3) Condition, finger comb.
4) Rinse, squeeze out
5) Wrap in a towel
6) Squeeze gently with towel to remove most of the water
7) Finger comb curl treatment through
8) Leave to air dry.
Definitely a chore!

Living as we do on a heavy clay soil we're blessed with some stunning oak trees. Very much at their autumn best now, with the sun coming out of the mist to give them a golden glow 🍂 🌳

She's 17 and did this entirely on her own.
