A normal working person reaches retirement and may be lucky enough to have, say, $450k in super...but as it has come from being an employee all their working life it is likely that the balance is 100% taxable component. Upon death, if the funds are going to a non-dependent, it will be taxed. 1/

It's obvious I am not a fan of the current Aust super system and it's tax set up...but, play by the rules that are currently in play and do not feel guilty if you are seeking advantage by them.

Some AFL teams need to start picking teams - in particular defenders - based on who they play!
Dockers are classics...Coach loves his big 3 (Pearce, Cox and Ryan) and picks all the time. But when they see small forward lines, one or two of them are mismatched and found wanting (& lumbering)

Why not do simple rather than complicated re the >$3m super earnings tax? Dont have to bring unrealised gains into it. Anything over $150,000 taxable earnings in a year gets hit with 15% tax.
I would go simpler if I had my chance but this is an idea.
