I will tell you about cool lesser known games.
Finished re-watching Inu-Oh, what a movie.
Definitely a cinema experience, at home it loses some power.

An incredibly sweet and hopeful story that deeply resonates in today's climate.
Full of heart and beauty, a movie that decries greed, envy and power.
Art as a means to freedom, even in tragedy.

post a game you remember playing that nobody else remembers

As a kid for some reason I adored The Italian Job videogame on ps1. Never saw the movie. The demo amazed me and the full game even more. Never cared for driving games before that (and after). I think that it was the" realistic arcade" experience that took me in, and how levels were self contained.

Nice weekend spent at ideaG playtesting people's boardgame prototypes including my own card fighting game (not pictured here).

Is Serial Experiments Lain the quintessential 2K anime experience for feeling like a netizen teen exploring the web in the early 2000s? Maybe yes.

Yes I am simping for a fictional character, an emotion I last felt 10y ago wowzie in the end being alive is pretty ok.

@hantani.bsky.social I got a strong sense that the way in which Gunnasdóir (spelling?) disappears with a sound and a red flash of his body when he gets kicked to the wall during cutscenes is a nod to heaven smiles dying in killer7.

Tell me, Clarence: am I a man with a plan or am I just going mad???

I had bought the double CD OST in Japan when I went there in 2019, it was on my short but mandatory to-do list. It is an amazing soundtrack that has to be heard to be believed. You can find it on youtube.

Oh shit it is #RandomGameSaturday

What about the best SaGa game ever made (and the only one I have played)?

I really look forward the possibility of a remaster. This game was far ahead of its time and although largely incomprehensible for my teen self it was memorable.

Ignore the tablecloth.

Agreed, I refer to the larger nationwide audience who does encounter these articles through social media. The same who decry HORSES and its themes although they would not have given it a second though if there was no article written about the game.

I'm bitching a bit that's all lol

According to Wikipedia it was not from Q?, and Mobygames says that the OG versions were by United Game Artists.
I love Rez and Rez Infinite anyway :)

Saw Angel's Egg at the cinema.

Yeah it was nice, bit slow, very essay and Oshii.

I had seen Savage Planet right before, and I liked it more.

Get your horses, I did.
On itch you can pay a bit more, if you are so inclined.

And I mean that I ended up tearing them apart haha
They were essentially unusable anyway.
How this was supposed to be done with a razor is beyond me and my skills.
Get mento soldering and I can do it, but opening up glued electronics seems to be beyond my abilities.

Today's #RandomGameSaturday is...

Italian rental version of Kula World, bought from a small rental shop that was closing up years ago.

Bought Lumines Arise even if there are new games in my backlog.
I thought that this is a piece of art that deserves an early buy.
It is very good indeed, like the demo suggested. It has a bunch of tutorial challenges for learning advanced techniques.

I once again bow before my reptile overlords.
