Xenoblade is not strictly turn based, it is real time combat with a fairly slow rhythm. They are also all huge games. 100+ hours each.

I would tentatively second Chrono Cross (it is an acquired taste) but I haven’t played any others that I assume you haven’t already played. (Xenoblade 1/2/X, DQ11, super Mario RPG)
