The weird thing is though, it can. If he spent 5% of his money putting up free medical clinics across the country in places that needed them he'd get a lot of love. It's hard to hate somebody who's taking care of your family. The thing is though, he'd have to actually spend the money.

I want somebody to ask ICE whether they've considered using sandwiches as a crowd control weapon. After all, being hit by one doesn't cause injury but from their reports it sounds like it was extremely traumatic.

Ok - I looked through the list of recipients; on the whole there are more people that I recognized who deserved it (MLK, Jimmie Carter, Nelson Mandela etc.) than not, but it's close. It has also been given to organizations, which seem to have a better record than the people it's been given to.

GIF stands for Giraffe Interchange Format, so it's pronounced with a soft G, like giraffe. It would only be pronounced with a hard G if it stood for something silly, like Graphic Interchange Format

I remember when I was in college and I worried about he-said/she-said. That it would be too hard to disentangle two conflicting accounts. Now it seems every damn me too accusation when you read the _guys_ side of the story it's obvious he's guilty as hell.

People have such a strong drive to identify good guys and bad guys. If the Spanish were doing bad things in America (and hoo boy were they) then, by process of elimination the Aztecs must be the good guys.
