DMV lines are a mile long, state prisons are being staffed by the national guard, average teacher salaries are the lowest in the nation, FHP has retention problems because their salaries are junk...but Ron DeSantis is on Fox bragging about the state's surplus *again* last night.

Ask yourself:

Why would anyone who wasn’t an asset of the Russian government do this?

Why would any decent human being do this?

This hits hard…

You know what else hits hard? The fact that voters thought it was a good idea to hire a reality show host/bankrupt businessman as President of the United States.

So much for rooting out govt waste.

Why I am fine with Eat the Rich:

Jeff Bezos announcing that he's marrying his next wife, Lauren Sanchez, in a lavish $600m ceremony. They live in Florida. $600m would cover 2 years of FL k-12 free lunch programs. Last year the state discontinued the office that helped schools file for free lunches.

Rep. Jennifer Wexton has been a tremendous champion of the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0.

Thanks to her principled advocacy the children’s cancer research funding bill is on its way to the President.

And the cruel indifference of Far Right extremists in Congress has been overcome.
