I like to replace “woke left” with “people who are respectful of others” so not sure why they’d have a problem with it. I’d say it’s pretty woke to eat a bit of meat, just not to much & source it ethically, like from a regen farmer.

My husband keeps saying how his father in law has changed since he started binge watching sky. He just sits there watches that & fox & sports, reads the Australian & then waxes on like he has a clue & the amount of bigoted nonsense that he churns out 🤮 (he’s American, left to escape conscription)

Oh no I’m not getting at that. 💯 the old white men. The kids thinking it’s cool & acceptable to disparage lgbt is just a symptom of the disease spreading, it’s defo not the cause but does need to be treated, mostly by honest & open discussion.

Yes I get that. My dad who was an mp fought for same sex couples to hold hands in the 90s. My mates used to get beaten up for just dressing different. Things got better now I believe there’s a slide back. You dnt agree, which is fine. I feel it’s worth being aware of growing fascism in our community

Yes but you’re down playing this. Things have flipped, kids were becoming more woke but there’s a massive back slide. This isn’t just calling things gay, it’s confidently claiming there’s something wrong with being gay & trans & gov is on their side, like authorities openly support the notion.

No doubt they’r mirroring their parents but them thinking it’s acceptable to openly mock lgbt+ in class is a shift. It felt a bit 1933 Germany tbh. Like you have to be cautious abt your response now.
