As a former letter carrier, this is how we do it in Canada. Postal workers here don't pick up outgoing mail at the door, only at community post boxes. So the flag is an indicator to the household that they have mail. They told us in training it was a courtesy, but not mandatory.

I genuinely hate everything about the ending of LiS to be honest. Ending a choice based game where both endings erase every choice you've made just left me completely aghast. But especially the Bay ending made me so upset.

Thank goodness we have talented artists like you to give closure!

In that scenario, Max is left alone with NO ONE to weather the trauma with. No one she can tell who will believe her. No therapy that can possibly help because no one would take her claims seriously unless she risked using her powers again.

I see no scenario where that ends well for Max.

I've never had issue with Chloe and Max moving through the adversity together. Leaning on each other to survive trauma. Couples have weathered far worse throughout history.

From my perspective, the Bay ending is FAR bleaker.... 1/2
