like, i used to be a huge stickler for shadow quality bc a lot of games would look terrible with it lowered, and now i just stick it to medium/low at all times since there's no meaningful visual impact and you get a ton of frames back

the theme for 9-49 is amazing but it's just not the same without 8 coins rolling and the million slashing sfx of the Arayashiki

Living Weapon is so good that they had to nerf it (LW used to interact really weirdly with "near-death" effects to the point of giving crazy multipliers) and even after that nerf it's still crazy
