Where’s all my “escalation” crowd at when russia launches ICBM at the non-nuclear state? :) The attack was non-nuclear today but clearly purposed to try out how nuclear one will look like.

I’ll be honest, it really seems like the whole world is secretly deep down rooting for Ukraine to go down. It’s so upsetting to see the panic in western media caused by the lift of the restrictions on the long-range weapons for Ukraine. I’m so sorry the chance for our survival upsets you so much.

This is Hlukhiv, my second hometown, the place where most of my family still lives. This evening russia launched a drone straight into a residential building.

Another day, another attack. We are almost used to it but how can you actually get used to innocent people being killed every single day? Or to knowing today you won the gamble and you’re not one of them?

Yesterday, when the media leaked that the US, France, and GB allowed to use their long-range weapons on russian territory, Ukrainians were trying to be happy but we felt very suspicious, we’re here long enough to know it’s too good to be true and we’ve been let down so many times we stopped counting

russia has hit a very populated area in the center of my home region, Sumy, with a ballistic missile. So far we know for a fact it hit a 9-story building. We don’t know about the amount of victims yet but I t’s evening in Ukraine, all the families were home getting ready to sleep.

This is huge and is something Ukraine and the friends of Ukraine have been begging for over two years.

There is something very soothing about the trains
So, in short, before, to get from Kyiv to most cities in Europe, it would take about 3-6 hours by plane. Now that planes aren’t flying, this is my usual route: 10 hours to Przemysl by train, then 4-hour bus ride from Przemysl to Krakow, then usually a layover there and only then 3-6 hours by plane

(plottwist: Ukrainian Railways is AMAZING, they literally fix everything in no time so I’m actually pretty hopeful :)

The realization that really hurts - if Ukraine even once attacked russia at the same capacity they hit us daily, the UN, Red Cross, world leaders etc would be crying calling each other and won’t shut up about it.
