Agile has been forced on engineers by management most of the places I've worked. It's always seemed like a way to try to make the engineers work more. Make it so it's always crunch time. An infinite series of sprints, instead of a marathon.

The amount of self-deterrence from the west has been breathtaking. I really thought we'd go to war in 2014, because, in my mind, we had no choice. Allowing the annexation of Crimea was a clearly unacceptable outcome/precedent. And yet, here we are.
