NUN VA GOLDOON was great. A film about the loss of innocence, Makhmalbaf's minimalist direction gets a lot done with little. Most scenes are self contained collages and they build on each other to tell a story thick with grief, and it all culminates in the greatest final shot:

Caught up with KAGURABACHI now. It's an interesting premise and story-world, and I love how the magic powers are rendered. The artist has a good eye for compositions, and he delivers with the money-shots everytime 🔥

The other one is great but this page needs some love too. The way Oda uses the environment to block the characters, convey scale, and to guide the readers is quality work.
