Routefinding in the snow is a pain. Do I go to the left of this tree? To the right? Get it wrong and end up on the wrong side of a ravine. My gloves were frozen so taking them on and off to check the GPS was *slow* 😅.

I have crampons but the snow is fresh and not deep, so I'm effectively walking on rock. Boots good so far. I probably won't even need the snowshoes today.
