Merry-Go-Round As a sex metaphor… You get to a certain age and the thought of riding a merry-go-round makes you tired and want a nap. Some merry-go-rounds are big. Some are small. Some are exciting! Some not at all. Some charge you for every ride. Many have been charged to ride before and many still to come. Many people ride some merry-go-rounds, sometimes several at once. The very first time you ride a merry-go-round should be special, but is not the case for all, but you always remember your first. Eventually, you realize that all merry-go-rounds are just variations on a theme, and eventually stop working after years of use without proper maintenance.
