And saying “We are limited in our capabilities and this is the best we can do.” Is better than “What do you mean a mobile app? We have mobiles apps at home!”

That’s not even mentioning emulation or rom hacks. Obviously not every PC is going to be able to emulate the Switch, but I think N64 and earlier generally should run well on even entry level devices. Wii/GameCube not much more difficult, and not to mention handhelds like the DS.

However, it’s possible to be fully engrossed in gaming as a hobby and not worry too much about the newer releases. Steam and GOG sales makes buying new games way more affordable, not to mention the constant HumbleBundles or bundles on Itch.io. Or the weekly free games on Epic.

Honestly it’s been a while since I’ve watched it. But just going back to it already made me choke up, so I think that speaks for itself. I think it’s especially relevant because of the new year happening soon
We're here because were here.

I want the record to show that I saw this video when it had about 3K views and I instantly knew this thing would reach into the millions. Such a touching video and it’s so sweet to see a family so close together and fully enjoying each other’s company through video games.

Honestly you could probably put any NakeyJakey video on here, but this one in particular is probably his best yet. The amount of introspection and care that went into it astounds me. And his little call to action at the end to go after the things you want to do is inspiring.

I’ve been watching Lyle off and on basically ever since his started. However this video really spoke to me. It shows a side of the Middle East that never gets shown in the media, social or otherwise. It just shows regular people with regular lives, and it’s so special for that.

Obligatory Jshatt jumpscare.

This video is something I always come back to and rewatch religiously. Honestly his entire “A Tribute To” trilogy is phenomenal, and it’s the type of videos I always wanted to make growing up. Will also make me peepies a little weepy on occasion.
