Basically they have adopted the language of MLK Jr. when he wrote “I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be, and you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be.”

It re-motivates me to keep working to protect all lives as sacred. To quote the HolyQuran from my faith: ”Whoever saves a life it is as though he had saved the lives of all mankind.” Or from Judaism, “Whoever saves a single life is considered by scripture to have saved the world.”

I also began to ponder the untold number of lives lost in natural and violent contexts at home and worldwide, and particularly about those who have not been able to give their loved ones dignified burials. 2/3
