The US government is NOT A BUSINESS!!!! We are not supposed to be trying to make money. That’s what the republicans want it to be by privatizing everything. The government is a public institution meant to help and aid our citizens. We take on debt to aid programs value to our society.

My Trump supporting father drove around w/ a printed Ukrainian flag in his window during trumps first term. He’s not Ukrainian. His parents were from Ireland. For a month and a half we thought my husband had pancreatic cancer. One of the scariest times of our 30 year relationship. It’s such a dire prognosis, I’m glad there are cures on the horizon. I only hope this dumbass administration doesn’t mess it up completely.

I love this thread. Who knew I’d love pigeons after reading these facts. I similarly fell in love with squirrels after listening to an episode on NPR. I learned the squirrels you see everyday are the same squirrels. They’re your neighbors. I love that.
