I never created a Samsung account and try to avoid that connectivity so I doubt it would be a factor. Was it easy enough to minimise the bloat?

I guess it doesn't matter for my uses but I wish you didn't have to stretch to the Pro version to get HDMI 2.0 connectivity etc. I was looking at a standard Book 4 just now...down a fair bit right now. Is there much to gain from the Samsung ecosystem if you have a Galaxy phone?

I've not been part of their ecosystem for a long time so it would be pointless ultimately. They're just built v nicely.

I'll have a look. The issue is that none of them are a Macbook but that kinda spend it WAY out of my league. When I see students with them I think back to my Uni experience and laugh.

I'll take a look thanks. My Sister had picked up a Dell laptop for my nephew, this Christmas and there are some great Black Friday deals. I'm just not sure what I want one to include. His doesn't have a 4K screen and I'm not sure that's needed when my large monitor (from which I largely work) is.
