Japanese XR studio, Psychic VR Lab, is developing AR applications to transform public spaces by overlaying them with digital layers. The Red Bull Air Race has been revived digitally as Air Race X. Pilots race from home, with flight data recorded. The races can be viewed via Styly XR platform on smartphones, tablets, and VR headsets. Despite some technical challenges, the launch shows promise for the future of XR entertainment.

Today is CitizenCon, the annual gathering of the Star Citizen community.
