I think a massive opportunity for children with additional needs would be to scrap the Friday spelling test. I cannot emphasise the amount of anticipatory anxiety and stress this can cause our children who (in a lot of cases) don’t benefit from it. Often they have memory difficulties. #EdChatIE

I want to highlight the absurdity (as a mother and educator) that a child with a singular need can get help in primary care ten times faster than a child with complex needs in a CDNT. That the higher the need, the *less* likely you are to get support. That's the model.
