I just scrolled past a TikTok where young people were listening to “Gangsta’s Paradise” for the first time. Their response was “that’s smooth.”

Smooth? Raise your hand if your Mom yelled “turn that shit down-you’re rattling the windows!” 😂

Did Marjorie Taylor Green admit on Twitter that she knows and has been covering from them? Now wants them to come clean? Bitch please. That’s a crime too.

She’s a far better woman than Nancy Mace.
Representative-elect Sarah McBride decided to take the high road regarding the bigotry she is facing. I applaud her for that.
And I detest the fact she has to. There should be no bigotry in Congress.

But rapists and pedophiles in the building is acceptable?

Asking for 74.6 million people.

This comment expresses how many are feeling. She is a teacher. Teachers exhaust themselves daily then witness this SecEd appointment. It must feel like a level of utter disrespect. My heart hurts for them.

Thank a teacher like military personnel. For their service to our children and the nation.
I’m angry about the harm they’ll cause- but I’m just sad when I think about the good that could’ve been done. The time we’re wasting with these assholes, that we won’t get back.

These appointments are just a Saturday Night Live skit now.

Oh. My. Dear. Lord. Jesus.
Not my President, the Orange Jesus (Trump to his base)of the far right (the Far Reich) has officially nominated Dr. Oz to serve as the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator

Are the men in the Men’s room monitoring for trans men?

We have to protect our men! They may be assaulted by a trans man in the restroom. They are too weak to defend themselves! Do you want your sons in the men’s room with them? We have to protect them!

See how dumb that sounds?
Thirsty Nancy Mace has now made 83 posts in the last 22 hours about the woman’s bathroom in the Capitol.

Never forget, Germans ratted out their neighbors. Cutting Trump supporters out of your life may well be self-preservation.

People are asking how Trump won. There’s a plethora of reasons but one stands out in my mind: conditioned binary thinking. His followers are either/or, Dem/Rep, for/against, us/them. This is why education is being demonized. Peeling back the layers of accountability would lead back to themselves.

I would like to propose that Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke, the young New Zealand lawmaker that stood, ripped the bill oppressing the Maori people, and proceeded to lead the Haka, be invited to Trump’s first SOTU.

Now that Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson, aliens have been discovered in the ocean, and a convicted criminal will enter the White House, it’s safe to say the world really did end in 2012.

You may know this but I am still learning how to navigate the Sky. If you type “block list” in the search bar, you can find people you may want to block. If you click “subscribe” and “block,” *poof* they are all blocked. This one was my first.

I love it here.

We know Trump cabinet nominees are complete jokes. And that’s exactly why he put them there. He’s testing weak points in the Senate.

Which Republican Senators will stand against anyone he appoints?

No seriously. I’m asking.

Dude, you had a brain worm and contributed to a measles outbreak. The Aryan-like people you describe are probably bright-eyed, curious, and affectionate because they will not make it past the toddler stage.

He and the other boomers are still here thanks to the polio vaccine.
Trump’s HHS nominee RFK Jr. once claimed vaccinated children are “damaged,” “poisoned,” have lower IQ, and “are socially awkward,” while unvaccinated children in comparison have “bright eyes,” “engagement,” “curiosity,” and “affection.”

Mississippians have tried to warn the rest of the nation for years on these issues but were dismissed because we were all considered uneducated and/or racists.

Now, the nation will be MS. We are ground zero for Trump’s policies because our elected officials are simps for him.
1. I just launched a Substack for my writings and thoughts about freedom, democracy, misogyny, whiteness, hope, resilience, connection, history and my historic travels that aren't published in Mississippi Free Press. Please follow + share my intro post/thread:
