This is a shameful way to treat our fellow citizens who are public servants. This doesn’t make America great.
So.
It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year.
I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.

Not partisan. The SSA’s own annual report states that benefits will have to be cut 20% to keep the program solvent in 8-10 years. GOP tax cuts will move this up a few years. This is a demographics and life expectancy issue. (Just got paid to write a white paper about this)
Social Security has been 7 years from going bankrupt for the past 56 years.
This is a lie Republicans created and perpetuate to condition you into accepting the loss of an earned benefit you paid for in every check you ever earned.
