I love the Grammys. Every year I’m reminded that a) everyone I know is an armchair expert and b) too many people confuse “I don’t like the thing” with “the thing is objectively bad”

And I know that I’ll be called an elitist or a snob for that, so be it.

I love that running is pop now but my pet peeve is newbies calling every race a marathon. “Interested in doing marathons,5k and up.” Those aren’t marathons. The only race that’s a marathon is 26.2 miles in distance. Just a lil pet peeve.

Remember that libraries are proof that not every goddamned thing needs to be “for profit.”
