I just flew Newark to Berlin, and this would be pretty easy with how understaffed and uninterested the majority of the airport staff there was! One person checking boarding passes with a huge crowd milling around, no checks at all on the plane.

I just flew from Germany to the US to visit my parents, and back last week. I had to take a domestic flight within the US. Things seemed the same as 2 years ago, besides the airport staff being a lot less organized. Pilots don't want to die either, so that's what I focused on the whole time 😁😁😁

½ my plane went to Customs. There was only 1 guy wearing full military body armor w/machine gun to check them, and he couldn't figure out how to take a picture with his iPad-like mobile device. We had 7 people checking US passes, and were all through before he started the first non-US person.

I went through Berlin (a breeze) and Newark (a nightmare) yesterday. What a contrast. ½ hour boarding in Berlin for an International flight on a large plane, 1 ½ hours boarding in Newark for a smaller plane. And security? Newark resembled a 3rd world country. Frightening.

I'm trying to avoid using oligarch platforms and sites 😁

Definitely not true. I live in Germany, and they spend a lot of their income on their cars. There are a dozen Teslas in my neighborhood.
