I paint on my own, but every Thursday we go to visit our good friends who live just ten minutes away and while my husband is playing guitars with his friend I paint with mine. This week, I finished my acrylic 11x14 canvas. Loving it. Now on to the next 😊

Thank you. I'm hand binding at the moment and listening to an ebook. My fingers are getting a workout but I am enjoying it.

Well, the binding didn't happen today..what can I say, I got distracted. It happens. Here's some pictures of the front and back. #quiltsky

Update on the race quilt. I’m almost to the finish line…pun intended 🙃. I’m starting the binding tomorrow. The flannel backing worked well. I think the walking foot was exactly what was needed. I know I would have been super frustrated if it was puckering. But it’s all good 🙌🏼. Pictures tomorrow.

So far, the flannel is not the problem. It's just the bulk of material. I did use a spray adhesive and also safety pins.

We have a doggie seat I guess you would call it. Phoebe is clipped in and it is secured with the seatbelt to the car seat. We have used it since she was a puppy. She is quite comfy and knows it’s her spot. Of course if one of her fav humans is beside her she would rather be on their lap ♥️
