I paint on my own, but every Thursday we go to visit our good friends who live just ten minutes away and while my husband is playing guitars with his friend I paint with mine. This week, I finished my acrylic 11x14 canvas. Loving it. Now on to the next 😊

Phoebe found a patch of awesome sunshine 🌞

62 x 82 Race quilt #quiltsky with border and cornerstones on front. Back floral cotton and avocado flannel. I machine stitched it and hand binded. This is my 2nd quilt. I'm very happy with it. The machine stitching is not perfect, but then that's the way it's supposed to be. I love it.

A friend gave me a jelly roll, and I made a race quilt top. I am machine quilting it. I backed with flannel. It's a struggle, but it's more of a test for me and my machine. I am using a walking foot. I'm wondering about longarm quilters and also that maybe hand quilting might be ok? Thoughts?

I am a beginner quilter and have made one 3 yard quilt and hand quilted it. I loved making the quilt top, but the hand quilting was difficult. I'm looking to connect with other quilters as I continue on my quilting journey.

We have a doggie seat I guess you would call it. Phoebe is clipped in and it is secured with the seatbelt to the car seat. We have used it since she was a puppy. She is quite comfy and knows it’s her spot. Of course if one of her fav humans is beside her she would rather be on their lap ♥️

It’s Toenail Tuesday. We use a Dremel to file Phoebes toenails. She gets a treat after each paw. Some days she refuses the treats until all four paws are done. It’s like “just get it over with”. Then she will have all four treats. Thank you very much! So much personality in our 16 pound Phoebe ❤️

One of my interests over a few decades now is painting mostly with acrylics but I have tried oils and watercolors. Acrylics is my favorite. I like to paint from a photograph and put my own spin on it to make it a one of a kind.

We have a Boston Terrier, black brindle and white. She is 6 years old And our first dog. We always had cats but after the last one my husband was heart broken. After a couple of years and retirement happened we got our Phoebe. We love her to bits.
