Can someone explain to me the hype with "fine dining" restaurants. I just dint get it. Its so expensive, the portions are small, and while i love a pretty plate, i dont think it justifies the price point. Im genuinely curious why its so popular?

Thinking about starting a series on tt, or even on here of "cheap meals made fancy". Just like, making good cheap food from budget meals and food pantries and making it look good af. Idk
