This shutdown is manufactured by Trump. He knows the Epstein Files will be released. He knows that the government will need to produce data showing how utterly depraved he is. His useless lackeys will have to respond to this data. The Shutdown is the Republicans fault.

Remember when they said they were cutting funding to foreign aid because there were people in the US who were starving? That was a short-lived false promise!

When will Republicans follow the law, do their jobs, and reopen the government?

Trump’s team is hiding behind the military just when tens of millions of people are going to lose access to food. They are literally stealing food off of the table of the most disadvantaged people.

Republicans would rather you die than release the Epstein Files. Why are they protecting Trump?

Trump’s Department of Justice is falsifying evidence. They no longer have the presumption of regularity. Anything the Trump administration says should be assumed to be a lie.

750,000 Alabamians rely on SNAP benefits to eat.

This is a profound failure of the government of Alabama.

And Republicans would rather let these people starve instead of releasing the Epstein Files.

Alabama is the 7th worst state in the country when it comes to literacy.
25% of Alabamians are unable to read at a level required to accomplish daily tasks.
Alabama pays its teachers 33% and funds its schools 35% less than the national average.
Alabama Republicans should be ashamed of themselves.

For too long, Republicans have had a stranglehold on Alabama - and it shows. We are among the lowest in the country in poverty, education and healthcare.
