Holy shit, this was incredible. Here’s at least one reader who hopes you do indeed continue with this newsletter. You’re an incredible writer, and Intertwixt is my favorite place to watch you flex that muscle. Great post.

How do the displays compare? Is one noticeably better than the other?

I love cozy fantasy as a palate cleanser after I’ve read a more intense book. Which one did you go for?

Mine finally settled in yesterday and I got around 5.5 hours of screen on time, which is on par or slightly better than what I got with my iPhone 16 Pro. First 2 days were definitely significantly worse though.

WTF, I was not expecting to get emotional while reading another Apple Exec interview piece, but @viticci.macstories.net somehow hit me in the feels with this one. This was incredibly well done.

Woah! The website already looks really good- loving the brown color scheme and name. Excited to continue reading, great start!

Ah all good- when I saw your original post saying you didn’t mind the timeline because you could open straight into Mastodon I didn’t know if you meant a 3rd party app or the actual Mastodon app, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something obvious.

I feel like I’m missing something obvious here, but how do I set a Mastodon post to open in the Mastodon app? When I go to “Open In” in my Mastodon feed’s settings, it only lists Feditext, Ice Cubes, Ivory, Mammoth, and Mona…

Nice! I subscribed to an annual sub around 30 min ago but never got a confirmation email. Not sure if something went wrong or if servers are just slammed. I used Sign In With Apple’s “hide my email” feature so maybe that’s wonky?

I second The Will of the Many. Good newish SciFi book, it’s the first of an eventual trilogy.
