Hubby, Dad, USN-Ret, Brother, & Friend to all, hate not tolerated! WHPH/FAFO/Hard knocks grad! Homesteading while trying to unpack my 20 years. However, looking like I might have to Rodger up, burn the last of my gas, & defend the Constitution once more!!!
Joint Chiefs should spin up an investigation into the SecDef's time in service, bet those "God forgiven" adultery counts match with his time in service. Should they, he should be reactivated & have to face article 134 & 133 counts. God holds no sway over the UCMJ. Something, gander, goose, yada...

When you truly mean it, really, really mean it. Send the call. Can’t speak for all my brothers and sisters. We’re a battered, bruised, & exhausted bunch, running on fumes, but we know our oath. There’s just enough left in us for one more suck it up and push. But just one, use it wisely if you must.

I like how you leave out reasoning. Facts, eh? Like DeepSeek, as a Chinese company, requiring compliance with Chinese laws for hosted content. Or how using its platforms means your personal info, device data, and prompts are stored (hosted) on servers in China.

Here is the fact I hope the Joint Chiefs throw in his face every chance they get. He is not in the chain of command. He as SecDef is only a civilian advisor to the President on the Military. No branch of the Military takes orders from him.

And you know he would totally make it look like that angular S we all (most) drew. But it would be on it's side with the option to rotate up so you feel like you're still able to stand.

Our youngest just hit middle school & said the bus is boring because everyone is buried in a phone.
He has an older iPhone that is Wi-Fi only, so no reason for it to go to school. All a phone does is undermine the staff you are going to blame if your kid fails.

The problem isn't TikTok, the US based company. It is the hooks the CCP has in it by way of its owners. ByteDance, as a Chinese company, is required to turn over ALL DATA in clear text to the CCP whenever it is requested. The CCP then scrapes it all for intel. They have the numbers to do it.
